Product Description
Sheet Metal Processing is the key technology that sheet metal technical staff need to grasp, and also an important process of sheet metal products forming. Sheet metal processing includes the traditional cutting blanking, blanking processing, bending forming and other methods and process parameters, including a variety of cold stamping die structure and process parameters, a variety of equipment working principle and control methods, but also including new stamping technology and new process.
Sheet metal processing is called sheet metal processing. e.g: To use sheet metal to make chimney, iron bucket, oil tank/ oil pot, ventilated duct, elbow size head, day round place, funnel form etc. The main working procedure has cutting, bending, forming shape, welding, riveting. It requires certain geometry knowledge. Sheet metal parts are thin metal plate , which can be processed by stamping, bending, stretching and other means of parts. The general definition is the even thickness product.
Sheet metal processing materials commonly used are cold rolled sheet (SPCC), hot rolled sheet (SHCC), galvanized sheet (SECC, SGCC), copper (CU) brass, red copper, beryllium copper, aluminum (6061, 5052, 1010, 1060, 6063, hard aluminum, etc.), stainless steel (mirror, drawing surface, fog surface). So according to the different role of the product, Choose different material, need to combine the material property and cost saving factors to choose the material.
1. Cold rolled sheet SPCC, mainly used in electroplating and paint parts, low cost, easy to form, material thickness ≤3.2mm.
2. Hot rolled plate SHCC, material T≥3.0mm, also used electroplating, paint parts, low cost, but difficult to form, mainly used flat parts.
3. Galvanized sheet SECC, SGCC. SECC electrolytic plate have N material and P material. N material is used on the part that no need surface treatment but high cost, P material is used for spraying parts.
4. Copper, mainly is used for conductive application/field, its surface treatment is nickel plating, chrome plating, or no surface treatment, high cost.
5. Aluminum plate, is mainly used in general surface chromate (J11-A), oxidation (conductive oxidation, chemical oxidation), high cost, silver plating, nickel plating.
6. Aluminum profile, used in complex cross section structure and various boxes. Surface treatment same as aluminum plate.
7. Stainless steel, mainly used without any surface treatment, high cost
